In the August 21, 2008 issue of the Queens Chronicle, writer Mark Lord contributed a review of the 2008 Broadway Blockbusters Production of Fame - The Musical. Congratulations to the cast and crew of the show, which has been getting a great response from its audiences!

Over the course of the last 2 years, 42 school buses and multi-purpose vehicles have been driven down and donated to areas of New Orleans that still suffer from the after-effects of Hurricane Katrina. In conjunction with John Corr, the Trans Group and Bob Reers, the Knights of Malta, Patrick Howley, and Ken Livaudais, Andrew J. Koslosky of the Josephine Foundation helped make these donations psosible. In addition to the 42 vehicles donated so far, another 5 will be added on August 11th, bringing it to 47 DONATED VEHICLES IN ALL! We will continue to udpate this fantastic project as news develops.

Congratulations are in order to all of our honorees, grant and recognition awardees, and the winners of our performance awards!

This year's Gala - held on Friday, May 9th, at the prestigious Chateau Briand of Carle Place - was attended by the largest number of guests so far! Everyone had a great time dancing, eating, drinking and spending a night honoring all of the amazing honorees.

The names of our award recipients of the night have been posted in our PREVIOUS AWARD WINNERS section and photos will be up soon, as well!
